The Volcano Masaya, one of our "world of wonder' attractions, and a must visit site while at Casa Silas it's only 30 minutes away. The park is open all day, and there's much to recommend a day visit (before 4PM), the park reopens in the evening (5PM) for night visitors interested in the dramatic views of the molten lava against the darkness of the night.
