This Week In Granada

Springtime in Granada brings continuing dry days with fresh winds down Volcan Mombacho's slopes, and off Lake Nicaragua's shores, literally it's not likely to rain before June, and temperatures will be gradually rising over the next few months. Current temps are comfortably low 20ºs through the evenings, rising into the mid 30ºs by midday. Generally, cloudless nights give us some spectacularly starry skies, and you don't need to be an astronomer to admire Orion, or Sirius while you're enjoying a beverage or dinner al fresco around the town.
We're in the period of Lent/Cuaresma Every Friday in the early AM Via Crucis occur throughout the town with the devoted following the Stations of the Cross. This practice continues until Good Friday.
